The Korean won has continued to appreciate ahead of Thursday's Bank of Korea rate decision, with markets pricing an increased chance of another rate hike. South Korean equities fell today even as the won strengthened. U.S. Treasury intervention has not ended the dollar's downward trend.

China Southern's 2x long product on Samsung Electronics (07747.HK) fell more than 18%; its 2x long (maximum) product on SK Hynix (07709.HK) fell over 5%.

Turkey's central bank said it will resume weekly repo auctions at its 37% policy rate to normalize funding conditions, and indicated it assesses the worst economic impact from the Iran war may be over. In early March the bank had shifted funding from the 37% policy rate to a higher 40% overnight lending rate—effectively a one-off rate increase. The central bank's Sunday statement did not specify when repo auctions will restart.
