Iran's deputy foreign minister dismissed former Israeli prime minister Naftali Bennett's claim that Iran's military power had been dismantled, saying that to confront Iran the United States would have to launch "the largest financial attack in history" and mobilize "all US institutions and departments", and asked whether that was a victory or a bitter admission of failure.

China National Intellectual Property Administration has approved including Macau innovation entities in the Zhuhai Intellectual Property Protection Center’s patent rapid pre-examination service, the Macau SAR government said. Zhuhai Market Supervision Bureau notified the service will open to Macau-related innovation entities from Aug 31, 2026. Macau entities may begin submitting pre-examination registration applications immediately.

Syria's foreign minister said Damascus currently does not trust Israel and its immediate priority is to halt Israeli attacks. The minister said Syria is "reaching out" for diplomacy and urged Israel to seize a historical opportunity.
