Russian Defence Ministry said on the 24th its forces struck Yuzhne port on
Ukraine’s Black Sea coast in the early hours, hitting an oil tanker it said was
carrying fuel to Ukrainian forces and continuing strikes on Ukrainian ports and
vessels supplying troops. The ministry said strikes also damaged fuel storage
tanks, warehouses storing military supplies, port infrastructure and a
substation supplying power to Yuzhne. Ukraine’s Odesa regional military-civil
administration reported large-scale missile and drone strikes across Odesa
region targeting food storage and energy infrastructure, with some private homes
damaged and fires ignited. No casualties have been reported; local authorities
are carrying out post-strike response work.
