HKEX filing: Xiaomi Corp (01810.HK) repurchased 1.8 mln Class B shares on Aug 24 for HK$50.8 mln.

Alibaba’s Damo Academy, together with Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University, developed a liver-cancer diagnostic AI, DAMO LiON, that uses CT imaging to identify small hepatic lesions. In a two-month real-world prospective clinical trial DAMO LiON identified 15 malignant tumours previously missed on review, most about 1 cm, enabling timely surgical or drug treatment. The study is published in Nature Medicine.
