MOODY'S says recent economic weakness in the Philippines reflects food and energy price increases driven by the Middle East conflict.

NVIDIA is negotiating an equity investment in AI startup Perplexity that would value the company at over $30 bln, people familiar with the matter said. The funding round could total several bln dollars and would mark a valuation jump of more than 50% versus Perplexity's prior round a year ago. Sources said Perplexity's annualized revenue has risen from under $250 mln at the start of the year to above $750 mln, partly driven by its Perplexity Computer AI agent. Perplexity has raised more than $1.7 bln to date from NVIDIA and other investors including New Enterprise Associates, Accel and SoftBank; NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang has said he frequently uses Perplexity.
