Wang Huning, Politburo Standing Committee member and chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, met US delegates to the third China‑US 1.5‑track dialogue in Beijing on the 24th. He said President Xi and visiting US President Trump held in‑depth talks in May on major issues affecting China‑US ties and world peace. China said it is willing to work with the US to fully and accurately implement the leaders' consensus, deepen correct mutual understanding, respect each other's core interests, strengthen pragmatic cooperation across fields, properly manage differences and actively build a constructive, strategically stable China‑US relationship.
