Eurozone government bond yields opened lower on Tuesday after U.S. Treasury
yields steadied following an earlier rise in Asian trading. Middle East tensions
rose after Bessent launched efforts to isolate Iran and warned countries and
firms against doing business with Tehran, but oil prices fell. Germany will sell
€5.0 bln of short-dated government paper maturing September 2028. Tradeweb data
showed the 10-year German Bund yield down 1.1 bps at 3.241%; other eurozone
10-year yields fell by similar margins.
