Anthropic asked employees at its San Francisco office to work from home this week after its security services provider warned of a possible strike by security staff. The union representing those guards said it was unaware of any planned action. A person familiar said Anthropic received notice last week from Allied Universal that the provider’s employees might strike; Anthropic then advised staff not to report to the San Francisco office on Monday and Tuesday as a precaution.
