China’s special representative Wang Yi and India’s national security adviser Ajit Doval held comprehensive talks on the boundary and bilateral relations. They discussed advancing delimitation negotiations, border management, institutional mechanisms and cross‑border cooperation, and reaffirmed adherence to the 2005 political guiding principles. Both sides said they would use the special‑representative mechanism to seek a fair, reasonable, mutually acceptable package solution and to handle boundary issues through continued dialogue to maintain border peace and stability. They agreed to hold the 26th meeting in India in 2027.
