Iran's deputy foreign minister Gharibabadi said if the US first meets its obligations, Iran could fulfill its commitments in under a day.

The Baltic Dry Index (BDI) rose 44 points, or 1.5%, to 2,926 on Tuesday, its highest level since Aug. 12, driven by freight gains across all vessel classes. The Baltic Capesize Index (BCI) gained 92 points, or 2.0%, to 4,735, its strongest since Aug. 11; Capesize average daily earnings rose $840 to $39,442. The Baltic Panamax Index (BPI) climbed 35 points, or 2.0%, to 2,166, marking a third straight session of gains; Panamax average daily earnings increased $318 to $19,496. The Baltic Supramax Index (BSI) edged up 2 points, or 0.1%, to 1,643.

China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Vice Minister Xin Guobin said the 15th Five-Year Plan period will prioritize growth by deepening integration of technological and industrial innovation and developing new productive forces. MIIT will adopt an industry-sets-problems, technology-provides-solutions approach, strengthen public technology service and pilot-scale platforms to accelerate original technologies into pilot trials and scaled application, and cultivate new scenarios, formats and business models to expand higher-quality supply for diverse consumer groups.
