Salesforce (CRM.N) jumped about 12% in after-hours trading on Wednesday after
reporting Q2 revenue of $11.35 bln, modestly above expectations, and net income
of $3.53 bln, up 87% YoY. The company said it recorded a $2.6 bln strategic gain
from its investment in ANTHROPIC. For Q3 Salesforce expects adjusted EPS of
$3.42–3.44 versus analysts' $3.38 estimate and revenue of $11.42–11.50 bln
versus $11.41 bln consensus. Full-year EPS guidance is $16.67–16.71 and revenue
$46.1–46.4 bln, implying roughly 11% growth at the midpoint.
