profits in high‑tech manufacturing among enterprises above designated size rose
50.1% YoY, contributing 9.6 percentage points to total profits of industrial
firms above designated size. Within electronics and communications, profits in
optical‑fiber manufacturing, optical‑cable manufacturing and
communication‑system equipment rose 468.4%, 62.6% and 55.0% respectively; in
medical instruments, profits in navigation/mapping/meteorological/marine
specialty instruments rose 157.8% and dental equipment rose 74.5%.
