China-Kyrgyz trade totaled $11.7 billion in Jan–Jul, with rapid growth in
China’s "New Three" products and electromechanical exports to Kyrgyzstan;
services trade and cross-border e-commerce cooperation continued to advance.
China is Kyrgyzstan’s largest source of FDI; cumulative Chinese direct
investment across all sectors exceeded $2 billion by end-July, with large
infrastructure, energy, mining, agriculture and green-development projects
progressing smoothly. Negotiations on a China–Kyrgyz services and investment
agreement have made important progress, and both sides are exploring measures to
liberalize and facilitate China–Central Asia and SCO trade and investment to
strengthen regional economic cooperation.
