Bank of Japan Deputy Governor Himino said policymakers should pay greater attention than before to the risk of rising prices.

Visiting Japanese lawmakers met today with the deputy head of the Central Committee's International Liaison Department, Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said, adding that relevant Chinese departments will release details in due course. Lin said China-Japan relations face serious difficulties, blaming Japanese government statements and actions on Taiwan and military security, and urged Japan to heed moderate domestic voices, reflect and correct, and abide by the four political documents to restore the political basis of bilateral ties.
