BYD will release H1 results on Friday. A Visible Alpha survey of analysts
expects Q2 net profit of RMB 8.99 bln (about $1.34 bln) versus RMB 6.36 bln a
year earlier; Q2 revenue is forecast at RMB 216.55 bln versus RMB 200.92 bln a
year ago. Jefferies flags margin performance as the key metric to gauge how
quickly domestic profitability can recover in H2 2026. Other analysts are
focused on whether overseas volumes — notably Europe and Latin America, which
have become important sources of sales and earnings — can remain strong.
Investors will seek management signals on domestic demand, pricing policy and
pace of overseas expansion for H2.
