Moderna (MRNA.O) shares fell 3.6% after the company announced plans to issue $2 billion of convertible bonds.

Sources say fast-fashion platform Shein (00625.HK) may price its Hong Kong IPO at about HKD 48.56 per share, slightly above the midpoint of the HKD 47.6–49.5 range. At that price the deal would raise about HKD 13.6 bln. The issue price is still under discussion and could change.

CITIC Securities said in a research note that long-dated U.S. Treasury yields have risen since June and, despite a recent pullback after repeated Treasury support signals and Aug. 25 progress in Strait of Hormuz passage talks, the earlier rapid rise was driven by U.S. fiscal pressure, heavier corporate bond supply and rising inflation risk. The firm expects long-end UST yields to remain elevated in the near term.
