Moscow by CIA Director John Ratcliffe, who met SVR chief Sergey Naryshkin.

attack NATO; Trump denied that, calling the visit "routine" and saying "no
messages were conveyed" and "nothing unusual" occurred. Naryshkin described the
talks as routine and focused on intelligence matters. The meeting, Ratcliffe's
first trip to Russia since taking office, comes amid rising European concern
that Russia may be probing NATO's collective-defense commitments.
