Li Chao, deputy director of the policy research office at the China State
Planner, said at the agency's August briefing the body will prioritize practical
steps to accelerate embodied intelligence deployment by building training fields
and pilot application bases to iterate robotics and embodied-AI in real
scenarios. The planner will coordinate training-site construction and strengthen
supply of data, models and standards: build high-quality real-device data
collection systems to ease training-data shortages; support model firms to
pursue multiple technical routes using real data and real scenarios; and
encourage innovation in vision, language, motion and world models to speed
technology convergence and application. It will expand scenario libraries, urge
industry partners to open real-world environments, support reliability and
safety testing, and push faster application and industry scaling across
manufacturing, medical, consumer, services and public safety sectors.
