Indonesia's finance minister said sovereign wealth fund Danantara will transfer IDR 120 tln of profits to the government in 2026 as a reserve fund, to be recorded as non-tax revenue; the proceeds will keep the budget deficit at the current 2.85% of GDP.

Aug 27 — At a Beijing meeting, central SOEs and Chongqing released three project lists covering signed projects, matched projects and an urban opportunity list, totaling 193 projects with combined investment exceeding CNY750bn. Chongqing’s state-assets regulator said cooperation will be deepened, prioritizing implementation of the Chengdu‑Chongqing twin‑city economic circle and the Western Land‑Sea New Corridor. Planned collaboration targets advanced manufacturing, tech innovation and major infrastructure, aiming to align central SOEs’ industry, capital and technology advantages with Chongqing’s location, resources and market to produce flagship, mutually beneficial projects.
