INSEE on Friday released final data showing Q2 GDP was flat QoQ (0.0%), below the earlier 0.2% preliminary estimate and the 0.2% market consensus. Exports rebounded 2.9% after a 3.0% decline in the prior quarter, led by a strong recovery in aircraft shipments. Household consumption, a traditional growth driver, reversed from -0.3% in Q1 2026 to +0.3% in Q2, supported by higher spending on food, energy and manufactured goods.
