The Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Ministry of Natural Resources and the State Administration of Financial Regulation issued a notice to improve China’s commodity-housing sales system, directing local authorities to vigorously and orderly implement sales of completed units to achieve "what you see is what you get", reduce delivery disputes, prevent delivery risk, protect buyers' legal rights and accelerate a new real-estate development model.

At the open, China’s main futures contracts were mostly higher. Shanghai crude (SC) led gains, up over 4%; coking coal, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) and soybean oil rose about 2%. Coke, ferrosilicon, silver, palladium, propylene, soybean No.2 and Shanghai lead advanced more than 1%. Pulp fell over 1%, while stainless steel (SS), soybean No.1 and Shanghai zinc slipped about 1%.
