Iran's foreign ministry called a new round of U.S. economic measures 'economic
terrorism', saying Washington's 'Operation Economic Storm' aims to impose
suffering on ordinary Iranians and constitutes international crimes and crimes
against humanity. The ministry said the measures violate international law and
basic rights, including access to healthcare and food, and urged all countries
not to implement the sanctions or recognize any consequences arising from them.
It warned that, faced with combined U.S. and Israeli military and economic
actions, Tehran will use all available means to defend the country.
