TASNIM NEWS cited the deputy general manager of the Iran Knowledge-based Companies Development Company saying 38 large projects worth about $9bn were submitted last year to the senior supervisory committee under the Law on Maximizing Use of Domestic Production and Services; 63% were awarded to Iranian manufacturers and contractors. Projects cover oil, gas, petrochemicals and power—notably solar and hydropower—and the domestic awards saved about €700m.
