China's A-share benchmarks opened lower, rallied then retreated; ChiNext briefly rose >1% intraday. At midday the Shanghai Composite was up 0.08%, the Shenzhen Composite down 0.14%, ChiNext down 0.32%. Planting and forestry stocks led gains: Wanxiang Denong marked a fourth straight daily limit-up, Xinsai posted a second consecutive limit-up, Fujian Jinsen and Dunhuang Seed hit daily caps; Qiule Seed, Zhongxing Junye, Kangnong Seed, Guotou Fengle and Yong'an Forestry also advanced. Real estate names were firm, with Shenwuye A and Wo Ai Wo Jia at limits and Tefa Service, Shilianhang, Shahe, Tibet Urban Investment and Sunac higher. CRO stocks slid: Wanbang Pharma fell over 10%; CanSino Biologics, Nearshore Protein, Baihua Pharma, Lanwei Medical and Chengda Pharma declined. Electronic chemicals pulled back from earlier highs: Guanggang Gas and Tongyu New Materials dropped over 4%, with Longchen Technology, Zhongjuxin and Siquan New Materials also lower.
