Hezbollah deputy leader Naim Qassem on the 28th urged the Lebanese government to
annul the Lebanon–Israel–U.S. trilateral framework agreement, saying it
undermines Lebanese sovereignty and fails to protect Lebanese interests.
Speaking at an event south of Beirut, Qassem called the pact illegal, unjust and
humiliating, accused the U.S. and Israel of trying to control and divide the
Middle East, and said populations in Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, Yemen and Iraq
had resisted those plans.
