Fars News reports the oil ministry has transferred $7.5bn of oil-related foreign-exchange receipts to the Central Bank of Iran, funds the ministry says will cover government FX spending through January next year. The ministry also says Iran has ample oil for sale to meet budget needs, maritime transport limits are not constraining shipments, and budgeted oil revenue reached 99% of target in the first four months of the year.

Iranian President Pezeshkian said an internal consensus has been reached on transit routes through the Strait of Hormuz.
