Iran's Nour News quoted National Iranian Oil Company CEO Hamid Bovard on Monday saying operations on Kharg Island have not stopped, denying a Trump tweet that the island's key oil hub was destroyed. Bovard said Kharg is calm and operating normally and that about 90% of Iran's oil exports come from the island. He added oil workers have never halted operations despite past US and Israeli strikes, and contractors are rebuilding and upgrading storage tanks and jetties.
