Interfax reports Indian Prime Minister Modi told Russian President Putin the war is pushing humanity back every day and urged efforts to end hostile actions.

Iranian media reported explosions on Larak Island in Hormozgan province late Aug. 30 local time (early Aug. 31 Beijing time). The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said the strike on Larak caused multiple casualties, including civilians, and vowed the attack would be avenged and the aggressors punished. Axios, citing a US official, reported US forces struck two IRGC launch sites on Larak Island.
