Hong Kong stocks closed mixed; HSI fell 0.07% while the Hang Seng Tech index rose 0.32%. PCB-related names outperformed — 03200.HK +11% and 01888.HK ~+2%. Large domestic banks advanced, with 01658.HK up over 6% and 03988.HK up over 5%. Liquid-cooling/thermal management plays gained: 00285.HK +9%, 02018.HK +8%. Coal names were active (01277.HK +4%, 01171.HK +1%); chip stocks rallied into the close, 06082.HK +18%. Other active sectors included OLED, optical communications, home appliances, robotics, AI applications and brain–computer interface. Iran's foreign ministry said the US attack on Larak Island was a clear violation of the UN Charter and urged the UN Security Council and Secretary-General to fulfil their duty to maintain international peace and security and to hold the aggressor accountable.
