Iran’s foreign ministry said its armed forces struck US bases in Jordan in retaliation for a US attack on Larak Island. The ministry said its forces will not hesitate to exercise their inherent right of self‑defense and will respond firmly and appropriately to any enemy military aggression. It added the US regime and all parties involved in planning or carrying out what it called illegal US actions, including the ongoing maritime blockade and economic warfare against Iran, will bear full responsibility for any new US aggression and its consequences.

A-share brokerage stocks jumped, with First Capital Securities hitting the daily limit and Jinlong rising over 6%; Dongwu Securities, GF Securities, Western Securities and Caitong Securities also gained.
