lower-court injunctions that had blocked most above-ground work on a 90,000 sq
ft White House ballroom, with four justices dissenting. The lower courts had
ruled Trump was likely to have violated the law; the high court's order is
temporary but would likely allow completion of the bulk of construction before
the underlying legal dispute is resolved. Government filings say the project is
about 65% complete and is expected to finish in August 2028.
