On Sept. 1 at its interim results meeting, GigaDevice vice chairman and general
manager He Wei said the company expects DRAM prices to continue rising in H2,
moving into a mild uptrend. Looking to 2027, GigaDevice expects limited
incremental DRAM capacity and that supply tightness will not ease materially;
the industry cycle should be extended and prices are likely to remain elevated
and volatile. The company also said SLC NAND Flash is in a prolonged upcycle,
expected to continue at least through 2027.
