Germany's foreign minister said he will order the closure of Russia's consulate in Bonn and close the German House in Moscow in response to the Leipzig attack.

In response to a Reuters question on whether the two leaders had discussed the Power of Siberia 2 gas pipeline, the Foreign Ministry spokesman said China and Russia, under strategic guidance from their heads of state, carry out close cooperation in energy and other areas, and China is willing to deepen practical cooperation with Russia on the basis of mutual respect and mutual benefit; he did not provide specifics on the pipeline.
