At the open, Chinese futures were mostly higher: Shanghai crude (SC) up about 10%, China-Europe container freight up >9%, ethylene glycol (EG) up ~6%, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) and fuel oil up >5%, asphalt up >4%, plastics and styrene (EB) up >3%. Decliners: palladium and Shanghai silver down >4%, platinum down >3%, Shanghai gold down >2%, lithium carbonate and Shanghai tin about 2% lower, and No.20 rubber, LME copper, rubber, Shanghai copper and live hogs down >1%.
