The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said its troops will continue operations in the area and will not allow terrorists there to advance or attack Israeli soldiers.

Greg Abel, CEO of Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A, BRK.B), said rising Japanese bond yields have not affected the major trading firms in which the company holds stakes. He noted Japan’s 10-year government bond yield hit a 30-year high this week but, “no trading firm sees this as a fundamental challenge,” adding yields “remain relatively mild in absolute terms” and are still low versus global peers. Abel said he still expects Berkshire would consider issuing yen‑denominated debt when appropriate.
