An internal IAEA report says the agency cannot verify the location or current
status of Iran’s near‑weapons‑grade enriched uranium because Iran continues to
deny IAEA inspectors access to its nuclear facilities. IAEA Director General
Grossi said "the agency cannot obtain information on these nuclear materials nor
access the facilities to verify them; this has become a worrying proliferation
issue," and urged Iran to allow inspectors in "without delay." The report was
submitted to members ahead of next week’s Board of Governors meeting in Vienna,
where members will consider a resolution condemning Iran. The release coincides
with a new round of reciprocal US‑Iran attacks.
