The plan calls for exploring data circulation infrastructure to enable secure, trusted flows of high-value data between large, medium and small firms. It promotes wider application of cybersecurity insurance to raise SME cyber and data defenses and seeks to strengthen data-related standards and technical supply. The plan also supports SME assessments of data management maturity, exploration of bringing data assets onto balance sheets, and encouragement of data property registration.
