Fed Governor Waller said yields are rising on fiscal pressures and competition for capital from artificial intelligence.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs said the Farm Products Wholesale Price 200 Index was 116.17 on Sept. 3, up 0.01 point from the previous day; the vegetable-basket wholesale price index was 116.82, up 0.03 point. As of 14:00 on Sept. 3, national wholesale-market average prices were: pork 16.44 yuan/kg (up 0.2%), beef 69.50 yuan/kg (up 0.2%), mutton 65.50 yuan/kg (down 0.8%), eggs 10.81 yuan/kg (down 0.3%), chilled whole chicken 17.23 yuan/kg (up 0.7%).
