On Sept. 3, 2026 in Vladivostok, Chinese Politburo Standing Committee member and
Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang told the 11th Eastern Economic Forum plenary that,
despite a complex external environment, China’s economy has been broadly stable
this year, with growth shifting to new drivers and an improving structure,
showing strong resilience and vitality. He said China has the confidence,
ability and conditions to sustain stable, healthy growth and to secure a good
start to the 15th Five‑Year Plan. Ding reiterated Beijing’s commitment to
expanding high‑level opening-up, invited foreign firms to continue investing and
deepening operations in China, and called for deeper China‑Russia regional
cooperation.
