An industry source said Ukraine struck the service vessel Nefrit while it was performing maintenance at a Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) oil terminal on the Black Sea. The terminal is critical for Kazakh crude exports. The source said Nefrit had largely completed repairs on one berth and was preparing to replace equipment on another when the strike halted maintenance, increasing uncertainty over future CPC loading operations.
