Escalating Middle East hostilities and renewed US‑Iran military strikes have
raised concern about the duration of possible supply disruptions ahead of the
heating season, pushing European and Asian gas to three‑year highs. Dutch TTF
futures were volatile on Friday but are still up more than 7% for the week,
leaving Europe on track for a fourth consecutive weekly rise. Europe’s gas
storage is roughly 66% full — the lowest on record for this time of year — while
Germany’s storage is about 54%, increasing pressure to replenish inventories
before winter.
