The Ministry of Natural Resources and the National Data Administration held a
meeting in Beijing on Sept. 4 to advance authorization and operation of
nationwide satellite navigation reference‑station network service data, marking
the launch of China’s first national‑level public‑data authorization and
operation project in spatio‑temporal infrastructure. Satellite navigation
reference stations are core ground support for Beidou high‑precision services.
The ministry says it has consolidated nationwide reference stations into a
single authoritative, standardized, precise and secure reference‑station network
in routine operation, and established a 1+33 Beidou application and
reference‑service center collaborative operations management system to provide
unified national surveying and mapping reference services and promote unified
planning, standards and supervision of the network.
