Bank of China’s Inner Mongolia branch has issued the Autonomous Region’s first
compute‑power token loan to Horinger New District. The loan uses an innovative
credit-evaluation framework that moves beyond traditional collateral,
incorporating token usage scale, compute cooperation orders, core technology
qualifications and R&D capability into core credit assessment. The product
targets token‑economy firms with a tailored inclusive science‑and‑technology
finance offering to expand financial support for the compute sector. Hohhot has
designated computing power as a key industry; the city reports total capacity of
150,000 P, including 146,000 P of intelligent computing, and ranks first
nationally on a green computing index.
