Sept 4 — The People’s Bank of China held an expanded leadership meeting and directed the system to implement an appropriately accommodative monetary policy, carry out tasks under the 15th Five-Year Plan, advance five priority financial initiatives, and prudently resolve risks in key sectors. The meeting called for steady progress on financial reform and opening-up, improved financial governance and services, and effective implementation of central policy decisions.
