Huagong Technology said subsidiary Huagong Zhengyuan will demo a 100G SFP112 optical module at CIOE 2026. The module is aimed at 5G-A/6G wireless fronthaul and high‑bandwidth Ethernet data interconnects and is billed as the world’s smallest 100G package. SFP112 is compatible with the SFP+ MSA standard. Huagong said the SFP112 lets operators deploy more 100G ports in the same panel footprint versus QSFP28, with lower power and cost and materially higher port density and aggregate bandwidth.
