As of 11:00 on the 5th, China's Ministry of Water Resources reported 17 rivers
in Guangdong, Fujian, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hunan and Heilongjiang remain above
warning levels by 0.01–2.45m. Hunan’s Xiang River tributary Yishui is slightly
above its designated safety level. The Han River has retreated below warning
levels along its entire course. On the Gan River, upstream main stem at Huluge
and midstream Taihe sections have peaked and are receding; floodwaters are now
moving through the downstream Ji'an section.
