China's grain enterprises reported annual industrial output value above 4 tln
yuan and total about 24,000 firms; more than one-third of provinces register
output above 100 bln yuan. Annual grain production has remained above 650 mln
mt; authorities say 2024 and 2025 will each exceed 700 mln mt, with per‑capita
grain availability reaching 508.9 kg in 2025. Grain inventories are described as
generally high and structurally improving. National standard grain warehouses
have intact capacity exceeding 730 mln mt; low‑temperature/near‑low‑temperature
storage capacity is about 220 mln mt, roughly 30% of intact capacity, which
officials say can effectively meet supply needs.
