Japan to tighten scrutiny of banks' lending to overseas non-bank lenders, Nikkei reports.

The Central Bank of Iran will launch a new standard gold-coin parallel forward bond on Sept. 9, a three-month instrument aimed at expanding financial tools, opening gold-market investment channels and managing liquidity. Investors buy coins at the issuance-day market-discovery price and receive the coin's value at maturity under published terms. The bond includes a maturity sell option permitting sale at 107% of the issuance-day discovery price, guaranteeing at least a 7% return versus the issuance benchmark.
