Clashes between Yemen government forces and Houthi fighters in Taiz and Hodeidah
provinces entered a fourth day on the 6th, with medical sources saying at least
117 people have been killed. A senior medic attached to government troops on the
western coastal front said 54 government soldiers have died since the fighting
began on the 3rd and several more were wounded. Medical staff at a
Houthi-controlled hospital in western Hodeidah reported 63 Houthi fatalities.
Fighting remains active with no sign of abating.
