Ukrainian President Zelenskiy met in Kyiv with a US envoy and Jared Kushner on
Sunday; national security chiefs from the UK, France and Germany later joined.
Zelenskiy said the US, Ukraine and European partners agreed to hold another
meeting, timing and venue to be determined. The US envoy said there had been
progress in Moscow and new proposals were brought to Kyiv; Zelenskiy declined to
detail them but said discussions also covered a post-war prosperity plan. He
said territorial issues, including Russian demands for more of eastern Donbas,
should be resolved at leader level. Zelenskiy said Ukraine is prepared for the
conflict to extend into another harsh winter and is seeking allied support in a
package that includes air-defence reinforcements and energy supplies, notably US
LNG.
